Miguel Marqués

The composer and violinist Miguel Marqués y García is the namesake and inspiration for our Miguel Marqués building in the center of Palma de Mallorca.

Marqués was born in Palma de Mallorca as the son of a chocolate manufacturer on 20 May 1843 and showed his exceptional musical talent at a young age. He achieved his breakthrough on the international stage in 1861 as a violinist at the Paris Conservatoire during his studies. There he began his career as a composer together with Hector Berlioz and, after a brief stopover in Mallorca, he moved on to Madrid. There he completed his studies, played the violin, taught music, and composed symphonies.

In 1894, he returned to his home in Palma de Mallorca. He succeeded in combining Mallorcan tradition with international modernity in his music in an extraordinary and unique way. In his spirit, we also combine Mallorcan and international architecture as well as tradition and modernity in our beautiful city of Palma de Mallorca in this building.

Buying process

Reservation

With this document, the seller guarantees the availability of the apartment. This reservation becomes effective with the payment of an amount that depends on the type of apartment, the parking space, and/ or the storage space. This document primarily sets out the method of payment and the deadline for signing the option contract.

Private option contract

This document is signed as a preparatory contract for the main transaction, the notarial purchase agreement. When signing this contract, the customer pays the option premium as specified in the contract. The price, the quality and the expected date of the notarization at the notary and the handover of the apartment, as well as parking spaces and / or storage rooms are also part of the option contract.

Inspection 

When the apartments, parking spaces and / or storage rooms are completed, the customers will inspect the corresponding property. Wew will visit the apartment, the parking space and / or the storage room and the common areas of the building.

Notarisation and handover of keys

The public deed of sale is signed in front of a notary and the keys are handed over to the client.
This is also the moment when the buyer pays the full remaining price.

Service

In this phase we monitor that the customer has received the property in perfect condition.
